I'm Rachel Wood. I built and exited a $7M+ international consumer brand that sold over a million units globally and received the King's Award for Enterprise in Innovation in 2023.
My career started as a British Army Dental Officer. After officer training at Sandhurst, I spent five years leading teams and practising clinical dentistry in high-stakes, resource-constrained environments. That work taught me to see situations as they actually are: name constraints, weigh trade-offs, identify real options, and make high-stakes decisions without perfect information.
Later, as a founder and mother of twins, I lived the full founder cycle—early insight, rapid growth, scaling complexity, leadership stretch, and exit. I understand what it takes to grow a business while raising a family because I've done both at the same time.
